Tamara's pastor told her about Faith Mission. He suggested she come to our Women and Families Shelter while she was waiting for the local housing authority to approve her pplication for an apartment.
 
"At first I was just here because I needed somewhere to stay." But then Tamara got into our Training Faithful Women program and began to see all that the Mission could offer her and her family.

$1.79 feeds one hungry person

It costs just $1.79 to provide one hot, home-cooked meal.
 
This Thanksgiving season Faith Mission will:

• Serve more than 51,250 meals to hungry men, women and children.
• Provide over 11,250 nights of safe shelter for homeless people

Many of these folks have nowhere else to turn.  They're depending on us, and we're depending on you!

Get ready! The second annual Turkey Stampede is on its way!
 
On Thanksgiving Day, November 25, at 8:30 AM join hundreds of your friends and neighbors as we start running at McNaughton Park.
 
Sign up now to reserve your spot on the starting line! You can walk 1 mile, run/walk a 5K or run a 10K.
