In This Issue East LA Teen Wins CA Youth of the Year Award |
$25,000 Challenge! This summer has been a real opportunity and challenge for LA County Boys & Girls Clubs. Many school districts across the county cancelled summer school and that packed our Club sites to new levels. Now, we need to retrench, restock, rebuild and get ready for the coming school year. Today, you can help us grow a $25,000 gift from a generous donor into $50,000 to provide twice as much help for the at-risk children we're now serving all over the Los Angeles area. Your gift, matched dollar for dollar up to the full amount of the challenge, will benefit the more than 105,000 kids who are filling our Clubs to overflowing here in LA County – kids who are living proof that Boys & Girls Clubs really do work! Your past gifts have made it possible for kids to walk into their local LA County Boys & Girls Clubs where they're surrounded by people who care for them. The donation you make today has the potential to provide even more guidance and support for at-risk children thanks to the additional funds provided by this amazing Matching Gift. Please make your gift now and continue to be one of the extraordinary people who forever changes the direction a child's life will take through your support of Los Angeles County Boys & Girls Clubs. Sincerely,

Matching GiftsMany companies will match employee contributions, sometimes dollar-for-dollar! This results in a substantial increase in the value of your gift. If your employer offers such a program, ask for a matching gift form and mail it with your donation. We'll do the rest!
