| Located in Indianapolis, Wheeler Mission Ministries is Indiana's oldest and largest rescue mission. On any given night, central Indiana has an estimated 1,500 homeless individuals with the average age of 9 years old. Wheeler Mission has eight locations ready to help with various programs to serve the homeless and needy men, women, and mothers with children in our community. Wheeler also has residential addiction programs for men and women. Fiscally, Wheeler raises 60% of our budget during October, November, and December so when the summer months come along, funding is tight. Successfully raising $30,000 in 30 days will help Wheeler to operate these important programs during the summer months, a time when donations are scarce.
