A Listening Ear and a Kind Heart

Virginia is not the typical person whose story you see each month in Faith in Action. She’s not addicted – unless it’s to doing good deeds for others. She’s not homeless – although she actually spends very little time in her own home.

Virginia is a volunteer at the Mission’s Thrift Store on South Main. She first came into our lives as part of a city program to gain work experience, and we were so thrilled with her that she’s been on the staff at our Thrift Store for nearly five years now.

Let's Celebrate Christmas in July

The holidays are such a blessing to Faith Mission!

Between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, we get 50% of our donations for the entire year. Receiving all these gifts really is a blessing. But it's also a tremendous challenge.

Imagine getting that much of your income in just three months and then having to make it last for a year.

Planned Giving

There are as many different ways to support Faith Mission as there are needs for your support. Planning a gift is more than just finding a need. There are a lot of factors to consider.
